A haiku I suddenly made, I'm not sure about everyone else but when I wake up from a dream which included someone from the past, I end up thinking about them all day (and beyond). Fantasies made consciously are less precious, somehow.
The pre-conceived notion of what a "dream" actually is and where it comes from has been debated since the beginning of time. While doing research on the human brain (through a silly app I had on my phone) There was a whole lot of discussion on the science of sleep and it's relation to "the third eye". (pineal gland) Our fantasies are derived from what we perceive as "real." The measure of that perception, whether in wake, dream or influence, is the only means of truly making a true grasp of "reality."
You wrote a very captivating piece and I appreciated it very much.
I really like the premises of this as it is very thought provoking and interesting at the same time. I think dreams can have a powerful effect on the human mind, especially when they are of a past event. But with daydreams/fantasies, well you have more control over them to a certain degree. Very beautiful work!
