these days

didn't let me sleep, i

like all good things in this

Silence is a knife drug against your throat
by your own trembling hands and you
hide the blood stains in the lines of
your palms, lace your fingers
and smile at your friends
through the glass over
your eyes, through
the salt lining
your teeth

hollow thrum

branches off to your arms,
a numbness you pray to lose
but it's always back when you wake
